OpenHIM
Summary
The OpenHIM can be used to support and strengthen COVID-19 responses that require data exchange between multiple systems and those facing challenges with lack of quality data, access to information, and poor utilisation of data, through an extensible framework that can be customized to support a wide range of data exchange and interoperability needs. The Western Cape Provincial Health Data Centre, the standard system for reporting COVID-19 cases in the South African province, utilizes OpenHIM.
